Schedule

Tracks the season: the light window follows local sunrise and sunset, shifted by the offsets below.

The same clock times every day. An off time earlier than the on time runs overnight.

A constant day length anchored to the off time: lights-off stays put and lights-on moves to give the hours you ask for.

Used for sunrise and sunset, and shown on the dashboard in every mode.

Camera

Manual is recommended for timelapse: on auto the camera re-decides every frame, so brightness, colour and focus shift between shots and the video flickers. Auto white balance drifts worst under magenta grow light.
The snapshot shows the flattened, top-down view. Unlock the grid to see the raw frame and drag the corners.

Display & thresholds

PPFD factor: ~54 sunlight, ~60 mixed red/blue/white panel, ~72 white LED. Canopy factor: measure lux at the top of the seedlings and divide by the reading at the sensor; 1.0 if the sensor already sits at canopy height.

Trays

Size is columns × rows. Shrinking or removing a tray asks before discarding any filled cells. Probes, pumps and floats are wired to trays 1 and 2 only.

Alerts

Discord alerts fire once a condition holds for the sustain window, then stay quiet until it clears. Soil alerts use the target band set above. Needs a webhook in secrets.
